The South County Economic Development Council recently convened its Board of Directors for a meeting on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024.

The gathering, was hosted by the Association of Realtors (PSAR) in Chula Vista, brought together regional leaders and stakeholders to discuss the Council’s ongoing initiatives and plans.

We were excited to have Mayor of Imperial Beach Paloma Aguirre address the Tijuana River Sewage Crisis and the impacts on our South County Businesses. Also During the meeting, President and CEO Jim O’Callaghan provided updates on several key programs, including a recap of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA), and developments with the EDA Tech Hub.
