On September 11th, 2024 the South County Economic Development Council (SCEDC) proudly delivered dinner to Station #8 for the Seven Mile Casino 9/11 First Responder Challenge, honoring our incredible first responders and local heroes. A special thank you to Seven Mile Casino for turning a simple idea into a community-wide effort, partnering with the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce and nearly 40 local businesses to provide meals to 13 sites, including fire and police stations
