On May 3rd , South County EDC held a Board of Directors Meeting Live and Online at the Imperial Beach Maine Safety Unit. Topics included SCEDC Recovery Loan Program, Binational Forum Update, SCEDC Grant Updates, Economic Development Organization Report, Civic Partners, and Welcoming New members. The hour and a half meeting was also broadcasted on ZOOM for other members who couldn’t be there in person. Thank you to all who attended and see you next

The facility now counts on 16 traffic lanes instead of nine and is supposed to have “improved traffic circulation” for thousands of trucks that cross the border through this port of entry on
