Board of Directors February 2025

The South County Economic Development Council (SCEDC) held their quarterly Board of Directors Meeting this past Tuesday, February 4th.

A special thank you to our guest speakers who provided valuable updates:

Steve Lockett, Deputy Director of the County of San Diego’s Economic Development & Prosperity Office, shared an overview of the county’s latest economic development programs and initiatives.

Jim O’Callaghan, President and CEO of the SCEDC, outlined the organization’s key priorities for 2025, including the Civic Partner Internship program and plans for the South County Visitor Guide.

The meeting also featured reports from elected officials representing federal, state, county, and local governments, as well as updates from SCEDC committee chairs on their ongoing work.
