From our roots as the lemon capital of the United States to our present as a binational economic powerhouse with a growing hospitality sector, South County has always had something unique to offer. Now is the time to keep our foot on the accelerator—working together to ensure our communities continue to attract the best and brightest, and to expand opportunities for all.
Just as we stand on the shoulders of those who came before us, future generations will stand on ours, benefiting from the meaningful work we are doing today and the bold steps we will take tomorrow. While challenges may lie ahead, I am confident that with the dedication of this group—and the amplifying effect of our shared efforts—South County will continue to lead the way for the San Diego region.
