The South County Economic Development Council recently convened its Board of Directors for a meeting on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024. The gathering, was hosted by the Association of Realtors (PSAR) in Chula Vista, brought together regional leaders and stakeholders to discuss the Council’s ongoing initiatives and plans.

During the meeting, President and CEO Jim O’Callaghan provided updates on several key programs, including a recap of the recent Economic Summit, progress on the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA), and developments with the EDA Tech Hub. The board also heard from guest speaker Rebecca Eusey, Senior Economic Development Analyst with the Employment Training Panel.
