The City of Chula Vista is pleased to announce the appointment of David Graham as the City’s new Economic Development Manager. This strategic hire supports Chula Vista’s continued efforts to drive inclusive economic growth, attract quality investment, and foster a thriving business environment for all.
Critical to this role, Graham brings over 25 years of experience in innovative economic growth, business attraction, and strategic development in both the public and private sectors.
“Chula Vista is at a turning point with major transformative projects like the Bayfront redevelopment, Millenia Library, and University Innovation District,” said City Manager Maria V. Kachadoorian. “The addition of David Graham strengthens our team and ensures we are well-positioned to harness opportunities ahead to deliver economic growth across our diverse, vibrant community.”
In this role, Graham will oversee the development of a new economic development strategic plan, drive business attraction and retention strategies, collaborate with regional partners, and lead key initiatives that promote job creation and sustainable development citywide.
