At the heart of everything the South County Economic Development Council does is community. Building a stronger and more resilient economy requires understanding the needs of those here in the community and interested in being part of South County. This knowledge allows us to build fine-tuned programing and attract partners who meet the needs of the businesses and residents who make South San Diego County thrive.
Our membership and marketing committees have put together a brief survey to help us better understand how we can enhance services. The goal is to ensure as we move into the next phase of evolution for South County, we have a regular dialogue to determine needs and wants of our constituents. Much like your business knowledge is paramount to shaping the future of this organization.
The South County EDC has a rich history of partnering with our local communities, business owners, and potential expansion partners on key initiatives. In recent years, our member organizations pointed out there needed to be expanded offerings to attract business and residents to South County. The organization worked with our civic partners and businesses to help drive forward the Bay Front Project. On the international front the SCEDC, due to interest by our community, helped shepherd the CBX Project to fruition.
These projects and developments which undoubtedly make our community stronger were due to hearing from you. We encourage you to take a few moments and share your thoughts on how we can better serve you. The more collective the input the better the outcome will be for all involved. I would like to personally thank Carla Leal, Debbie Espe, Patricia Alvarez, and Rich Yumul and all the members of our marketing and membership committees for their commitment to our community. Their passion and dedication to providing best in class service and awareness are what makes the SCEDC a tremendous resource for businesses in our community.
