On September 11th, 2024 the South County Economic Development Council (SCEDC) proudly delivered dinner to Station #8 for the Seven Mile Casino 9/11 First Responder Challenge, honoring our incredible first responders and local heroes.
A special thank you to Seven Mile Casino for turning a simple idea into a community-wide effort, partnering with the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce and nearly 40 local businesses to provide meals to 13 sites, including fire and police stations across Bonita, Chula Vista, and Imperial Beach.
