The South County Economic Development Council (South County EDC) is proud to be part of a group of business organizations throughout San Diego County and the state of Baja working together to ensure a committed, united, and consistent effort is put forth ensuring our binational region continues to be positioned as a strong economic center. Thank you to the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce for hosting this group with a focus on formalizing efforts throughout the region to promote economic prosperity and trade.

This coalition presents opportunities for consistent and regular discussion surrounding key initiatives and measures impacting the region on both sides of the international border. The South County EDC understands and celebrates the advantages afforded our businesses, communities, and residents through a vibrant binational region. Working together with our partners we look forward to presenting renewed opportunities to grow and enhance our region through collaborative efforts.

As we look to the future for our region, we encourage you to engage with our binational committee and assist in defining our role and commitment to these important efforts. Under the leadership of Miguel Aguirre and Flavio Olivieri the binational committee meets the third Wednesday of each month at 10 AM. To learn more about this committee please visit:
