Thank You All for Attending! This year’s Economic Summit was hosted by the South County Economic Development Council, which took place on April 26th at
the Balboa Park Club.

SCEDC Young Entrepreneurs Academy

The Young Entrepreneur Academy is an innovative program that provides young people with the tools and resources they need to start and run their own businesses. The program is designed to inspire and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs by teaching them valuable skills such as marketing, finance, and leadership.  

South County EDC is a non-profit business organization that partners with California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC)  to offer support to the manufacturing companies in South San Diego County.  

Zero Cost Assistance program

The South County Economic Development Council is offering valuable assistance to local manufacturers by providing access to various resources at no cost. These resources include wage subsidies, workforce development programs, operational assistance, and more.

In recent weeks, the Recovery Task Force convened by Supervisor Cox and May Faulconer has been working to ensure businesses have clear guidelines and expectations as we move towards recovery. The South County Economic Development Council along with many of our civic partners from around the County of San Diego have been sharing your concerns and needs as members of this group.
